God of War is about a disturbed Greek Spartan, who had done many bad deeds. He begged the gods to rid his
awful memories but they asked him for a favor in return. They asked that he kill Ares, the god of war, because he was destroying
Athens. In the end you end up killing him, but the gods do not rid your memories. Kratos was driven mad by the memories and
he cast himself from the highest mountain in all of Greece, deciding that death was his escape from madness. He tried to kill
himself but Athena, the guardian diety of Athens, decided that a mortal that had performed such service to the gods would
not die in his own hands. There was a vacant position of God of War and thus far he became the god of war!
